The iPhone/iPad Labs are training classes dedicated to specific topics of the iPhone/iPad SDK. Each lab usually lasts 8-16 hours and a basic knowledge of the iPhone/iPad programming and objective-c are required. Additional programming knowledge is strongly suggested.

iPhone/iPad and Networking

During this lab, the participants are guided to build a complex iPhone/iPad application to realize a geo-localized chat among different users connected to a central server. The central server will be also developed in JAVA during the class. The topics covered by this labs are: an overview of UIKit, Core Location, and the Socket programming on the iPhone. Moreover, the Socket programming will be also covered on the server in JAVA.

This lab is addressed to iPhone developers and JAVA developers. Companies can benefit an interesting discount.

iPhone/iPad and Geo-Multimedia

The participants of this lab are guided to build an iPhone/iPad application based on MapKit and the Multimedia players of the iPhone and iPad. A combination of art and technology will generate an iPhone and iPad application intended to create a virtual trip in one of the most beautiful parts of Barcelona. The topics covered by this labs are: an overview of UIKit and its potentiality, Core Location, MapKit and the Multimedia Players.
